Bianca Day- Class of 2010
Hello Everyone!
Bianca DayMy name is Bianca and I graduated from Collier High School in 2010.  My journey as a responsible adult after graduating has been quite an experience.  I didn't attend college immediately after graduation but I did give myself time to think about what I wanted to do with my future.  I eventually made a great decision when I decided to attend the Sanford Brown Institute in North Brunswick, NJ and became a Medical Assistant in  2015.  Since then I have been employed at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ in New Brunswick.  For a while thereafter, I went down some difficult wrong roads with no map or destination.  I learned that life presents us with choices and these experiences will be your teacher.  Finally I found my stop when I became a mother in 2019 and currently reside in North Brunswick with my son Jaden.  I recently enrolled in the Chamberlain School of Nursing in North Brunswick and am preparing to become a Registered Nurse.
At times I find myself thinking back at my years at Collier High School because it is an experience that never leaves you.  I am grateful to the teachers, counselors and Sisters who never stopped believing in me.  I want to say to the current students and alumni, some of whom I am still in contact with, that you are not alone.  There are those of us that have gone before you and became better for having been at Collier.   Be yourself and try to figure out where and how you want to start your journey after graduation or if you have been out of high school for awhile.  Take advantage of this opportunity and know that you can always reach back at any time for support from Collier.
A Collier kid forever,
